# Defender Guard vs ASC

The clearest difference is rating: Defender Guard at 4.6 against ASC's 3.3. Defender Guard also leads on ratings volume (4.2K vs 55) and review sentiment (43% vs 25%). ASC's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 22) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Defender Guard sells 22 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. ASC asks for nothing beyond the download.
