# Flappy Flocks vs LightDrop

The clearest difference is ads: Flappy Flocks at none against LightDrop's shown. Flappy Flocks also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). LightDrop's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flappy Flocks sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and LightDrop sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flappy Flocks ships an update every 3 months, LightDrop every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
