# Live Transcribe vs Fix Grammar

The clearest difference is update cadence: Live Transcribe at every 4 days against Fix Grammar's every 9 months. Live Transcribe also leads on ratings volume (8K vs 1) and chart position (#72 vs unranked). Fix Grammar's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Live Transcribe sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Fix Grammar sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fix Grammar holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Live Transcribe has 8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Live Transcribe ships an update every 4 days, Fix Grammar every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
