# Live Transcribe vs AudioRadar

Live Transcribe and AudioRadar both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of AudioRadar's written reviews are positive against 57% of Live Transcribe's. AudioRadar also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 20) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.0). Live Transcribe's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs monthly) and ratings volume (8K vs 5). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Live Transcribe sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. AudioRadar asks for nothing beyond the download.

AudioRadar holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Live Transcribe has 8K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 57% of Live Transcribe's written reviews are positive against 100% of AudioRadar's.

Live Transcribe ships an update every 3 days, AudioRadar monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
