# Communiti vs Act

The clearest difference is update cadence: Act at every 10 days against Communiti's every 22 months. Act also leads on iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Communiti ships an update every 22 months, Act every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
