# PROOF + vs APN Connection

The clearest difference is rating: APN Connection at 5.0 against PROOF +'s 4.6. APN Connection also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). PROOF +'s advantage is ratings volume (105 vs 5) and update cadence (every 9 days vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

APN Connection holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PROOF + has 105 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PROOF + ships an update every 9 days, APN Connection monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
