# Paltruco vs Bombo

The clearest difference is rating: Paltruco at 5.0 against Bombo's 2.8. Paltruco also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and device support (3 vs 1). Bombo's advantage is ratings volume (41 vs 2) and review sentiment (29% vs 20%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Paltruco holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bombo has 41 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of Paltruco's written reviews are positive against 29% of Bombo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Paltruco ships an update weekly, Bombo every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
