# MapDraw App vs iRoofing Phone App

The clearest difference is monetization model: MapDraw App at free against iRoofing Phone App's subscription. MapDraw App also leads on review sentiment (75% vs 58%) and device support (3 vs 1). iRoofing Phone App's advantage is update cadence (every 3 months vs every 18 months) and rating (4.5 vs 4.3). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

iRoofing Phone App holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iRoofing Phone App has 40 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of MapDraw App's written reviews are positive against 58% of iRoofing Phone App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MapDraw App ships an update every 18 months, iRoofing Phone App every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on September 17, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
