# iQ Student Accommodation vs Buzz

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Buzz at 100% against iQ Student Accommodation's 40%. Buzz also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 months). iQ Student Accommodation's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 3.7) and ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

iQ Student Accommodation holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iQ Student Accommodation has 24 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of iQ Student Accommodation's written reviews are positive against 100% of Buzz's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iQ Student Accommodation ships an update every 2 months, Buzz every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
