# Video Maker+ vs Remi

The clearest difference is update cadence: Remi at every 2 days against Video Maker+'s every 11 months. Video Maker+'s advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.6 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Video Maker+ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Remi sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Video Maker+ ships an update every 11 months, Remi every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
