# Video Maker+ vs Vays

The clearest difference is update cadence: Vays at weekly against Video Maker+'s every 11 months. Video Maker+'s advantage is iOS requirement (13.6 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Video Maker+ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Vays sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Video Maker+ ships an update every 11 months, Vays weekly. The most recent releases landed on September 16, 2026 and September 21, 2026 respectively.
