# Hide And Escape vs Elastic Master

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Hide And Escape at none against Elastic Master's 5. Hide And Escape also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 13.0). Elastic Master's advantage is ratings volume (4.3K vs 255) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). On price, rating, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Elastic Master sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Hide And Escape asks for nothing beyond the download.

Elastic Master holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Elastic Master has 4.3K ratings behind it against 255, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Hide And Escape's written reviews are positive against 97% of Elastic Master's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Hide And Escape ships an update every 5 weeks, Elastic Master every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
