# blüüm vs Beyond

The clearest difference is review sentiment: blüüm at 100% against Beyond's 50%. blüüm also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.3) and in-app purchases (none vs 15). Beyond's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 11 months) and ratings volume (200 vs 3). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Beyond sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per 7 days. blüüm asks for nothing beyond the download.

blüüm holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Beyond has 200 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of blüüm's written reviews are positive against 50% of Beyond's.

blüüm ships an update every 11 months, Beyond fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
