# Helitrends vs NOTAMnotification

The clearest difference is update cadence: NOTAMnotification at every 4 days against Helitrends's every 3 weeks. NOTAMnotification also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Helitrends's advantage is ratings volume (21 vs 3). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Helitrends sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and NOTAMnotification sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NOTAMnotification holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Helitrends has 21 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Helitrends ships an update every 3 weeks, NOTAMnotification every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
