# Pause vs StepChique

The clearest difference is ads: StepChique at none against Pause's shown. StepChique also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Pause's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (5.9K vs 10). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Pause holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pause has 5.9K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two.
