# Pause vs RapidStep10

The clearest difference is ads: RapidStep10 at none against Pause's shown. RapidStep10 also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Pause's advantage is ratings volume (5.9K vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.6). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Pause against 5.0 for RapidStep10. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pause has 5.9K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
