# Wearbuds vs ECWatch

The clearest difference is update cadence: Wearbuds at every 3 weeks against ECWatch's every 2 months. ECWatch's advantage is iOS requirement (10.0 vs 14.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Wearbuds ships an update every 3 weeks, ECWatch every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
