# SYNA vs LYNK smart control

The clearest difference is review sentiment: LYNK smart control at 46% against SYNA's 3%. SYNA's advantage is rating (3.4 vs 1.5) and ratings volume (341 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SYNA holds the better App Store score, 3.4 against 1.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SYNA has 341 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 3% of SYNA's written reviews are positive against 46% of LYNK smart control's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SYNA ships an update every 10 days, LYNK smart control every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
