# SYNA vs GLOWRIUM

The clearest difference is review sentiment: GLOWRIUM at 48% against SYNA's 3%. SYNA's advantage is rating (3.4 vs 2.4) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SYNA holds the better App Store score, 3.4 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SYNA has 341 ratings behind it against 35, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 3% of SYNA's written reviews are positive against 48% of GLOWRIUM's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SYNA ships an update every 10 days, GLOWRIUM every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
