# Rocket Memo vs SnapNote

The clearest difference is update cadence: SnapNote at every 2 days against Rocket Memo's every 2 weeks. SnapNote also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rocket Memo sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and SnapNote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Rocket Memo ships an update every 2 weeks, SnapNote every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
