# Rocket Memo vs Second Brain Vault

The clearest difference is update cadence: Rocket Memo at every 2 weeks against Second Brain Vault's every 4 months. Rocket Memo also leads on iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rocket Memo sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Second Brain Vault sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Rocket Memo ships an update every 2 weeks, Second Brain Vault every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
