# StarCycle vs MyCBRC

The clearest difference is review sentiment: StarCycle at 100% against MyCBRC's 50%. StarCycle also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.0) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 5 months). MyCBRC's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

StarCycle holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: StarCycle has 2.8K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of StarCycle's written reviews are positive against 50% of MyCBRC's.

StarCycle ships an update every 3 weeks, MyCBRC every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
