# iAttended vs Dragon Shield

The clearest difference is rating: Dragon Shield at 5.0 against iAttended's 1.8. Dragon Shield also leads on iOS requirement (13.2 vs 15.6). iAttended's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (19 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Dragon Shield holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iAttended has 19 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

iAttended ships an update every 5 days, Dragon Shield every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and September 19, 2026 respectively.
