# Eclipse vs Pro

The clearest difference is price: Pro at $4.99 against Eclipse's $9.99. Pro also leads on rating (3.5 vs 3.2) and review sentiment (50% vs 36%). Eclipse's advantage is chart position (#133 vs unranked) and ratings volume (15 vs 2). On update cadence, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Eclipse costs $9.99 and Pro $4.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Pro holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Eclipse has 15 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 36% of Eclipse's written reviews are positive against 50% of Pro's.

Eclipse ships an update every 3 months, Pro every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
