# Cipchat vs SilentLink

The clearest difference is rating: Cipchat at 4.8 against SilentLink's 3.4. Cipchat also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10). SilentLink's advantage is review sentiment (53% vs 20%) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, ratings volume, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SilentLink sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Cipchat asks for nothing beyond the download.

Cipchat holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 61 and 26 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of Cipchat's written reviews are positive against 53% of SilentLink's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Cipchat ships an update every 2 months, SilentLink fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 3, 2026.
