# Cipchat vs 电报

The clearest difference is update cadence: 电报 at every 4 days against Cipchat's every 2 months. Cipchat's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium) and ratings volume (61 vs 2). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

电报 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cipchat has 61 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Cipchat ships an update every 2 months, 电报 every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
