# Loxx Boxx vs CB2

The clearest difference is rating: CB2 at 4.9 against Loxx Boxx's 3.4. CB2 also leads on ratings volume (885 vs 12). Loxx Boxx's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 33%) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CB2 holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CB2 has 885 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Loxx Boxx's written reviews are positive against 33% of CB2's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
