# Perk vs Safeguard Global

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Perk at 27% against Safeguard Global's 0%. Perk also leads on ratings volume (1.2K vs 3) and update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). Safeguard Global's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Safeguard Global holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Perk has 1.2K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of Perk's written reviews are positive against 0% of Safeguard Global's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Perk ships an update weekly, Safeguard Global fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
