# Perk vs Rhombus Key

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Rhombus Key at 74% against Perk's 27%. Rhombus Key also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). Perk's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Perk holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Perk has 1.2K ratings behind it against 71, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of Perk's written reviews are positive against 74% of Rhombus Key's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Perk ships an update weekly, Rhombus Key every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 20, 2026.
