# iQ vs Vedic School

The clearest difference is update cadence: Vedic School at every 3 months against iQ's every 13 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iQ sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Vedic School sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

iQ ships an update every 13 months, Vedic School every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
