# Somaek vs Truffle

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Somaek at 100% against Truffle's 65%. Somaek also leads on iOS requirement (12.2 vs 15.1). Truffle's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 21 months) and chart position (#197 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Somaek sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Truffle sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Somaek ships an update every 21 months, Truffle every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
