# MyInstitute vs Kumar Edutainment

The clearest difference is ratings volume: MyInstitute at 1.5K against Kumar Edutainment's 1. MyInstitute also leads on review sentiment (69% vs 50%) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). Kumar Edutainment's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Kumar Edutainment holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyInstitute has 1.5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of MyInstitute's written reviews are positive against 50% of Kumar Edutainment's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MyInstitute ships an update monthly, Kumar Edutainment every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
