# TabX vs M.L.Rose

TabX and M.L.Rose both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 62% of TabX's written reviews are positive against 0% of M.L.Rose's. M.L.Rose's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, rating, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

M.L.Rose holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 72 and 118 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of TabX's written reviews are positive against 0% of M.L.Rose's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TabX ships an update every 2 weeks, M.L.Rose fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and September 2, 2026 respectively.
