# K.education vs Verby

The clearest difference is monetization model: Verby at free with in-app purchases against K.education's subscription. Verby also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). K.education's advantage is ratings volume (513 vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. K.education sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $14.99 per month and Verby sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Verby holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: K.education has 513 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

K.education ships an update fortnightly, Verby every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
