# VideoCopy vs YMGuide

The clearest difference is rating: YMGuide at 5.0 against VideoCopy's 4.5. YMGuide also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). VideoCopy's advantage is ratings volume (10K vs 5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VideoCopy sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per 3 months and YMGuide sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

YMGuide holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VideoCopy has 10K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

VideoCopy ships an update every 2 months, YMGuide every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
