# VideoCopy vs Riff

The clearest difference is update cadence: Riff at weekly against VideoCopy's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VideoCopy sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per 3 months and Riff sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VideoCopy ships an update every 2 months, Riff weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
