# TBC Business vs MSG SMS

TBC Business and MSG SMS both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of MSG SMS's written reviews are positive against 67% of TBC Business's. MSG SMS also leads on iOS requirement (13.4 vs 16.0). TBC Business's advantage is ratings volume (2.2K vs 1) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for TBC Business against 5.0 for MSG SMS. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TBC Business has 2.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 67% of TBC Business's written reviews are positive against 100% of MSG SMS's.

TBC Business ships an update weekly, MSG SMS every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
