# SiN vs Mattr

The clearest difference is rating: SiN at 2.9 against Mattr's 2.3. SiN also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.4). Mattr's advantage is review sentiment (38% vs 0%) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 months). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SiN sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Mattr sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SiN holds the better App Store score, 2.9 against 2.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 7 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of SiN's written reviews are positive against 38% of Mattr's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SiN ships an update every 6 months, Mattr every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
