# Parka.is vs Klappið

The clearest difference is rating: Klappið at 3.3 against Parka.is's 1.8. Klappið also leads on ratings volume (158 vs 28). Parka.is's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Klappið holds the better App Store score, 3.3 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Klappið has 158 ratings behind it against 28, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 14% of Parka.is's written reviews are positive against 12% of Klappið's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Parka.is ships an update fortnightly, Klappið every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
