# Chemguy vs Scientific Method

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Scientific Method at none against Chemguy's 1. Scientific Method also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). Chemguy's advantage is device support. On price there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chemguy sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Scientific Method asks for nothing beyond the download.
