# Chemguy vs Bone Zone

The clearest difference is ads: Chemguy at none against Bone Zone's shown. Chemguy also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.2). Bone Zone's advantage is update cadence (every 10 months vs every 41 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chemguy sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Bone Zone sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Chemguy ships an update every 41 months, Bone Zone every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on September 10, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
