# RWRD vs Notes Coffee

The clearest difference is rating: Notes Coffee at 5.0 against RWRD's 3.0. Notes Coffee also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1). RWRD's advantage is review sentiment (83% vs 50%) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RWRD sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month. Notes Coffee asks for nothing beyond the download.

Notes Coffee holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 6 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of RWRD's written reviews are positive against 50% of Notes Coffee's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

RWRD ships an update fortnightly, Notes Coffee every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
