# SLT vs SwimJim

The clearest difference is ratings volume: SLT at 3.3K against SwimJim's 3. SwimJim's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for SLT against 5.0 for SwimJim. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SLT has 3.3K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SLT ships an update every 4 weeks, SwimJim monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
