# Moo日记 vs Diary Star

The clearest difference is ads: Diary Star at none against Moo日记's shown. Moo日记's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Moo日记 sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 3 months and Diary Star sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
