# AUT vs PTE Practice & Tests

The clearest difference is review sentiment: PTE Practice & Tests at 94% against AUT's 30%. PTE Practice & Tests also leads on ratings volume (89 vs 1) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 5 weeks). AUT's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PTE Practice & Tests sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. AUT asks for nothing beyond the download.

AUT holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PTE Practice & Tests has 89 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of AUT's written reviews are positive against 94% of PTE Practice & Tests's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AUT ships an update every 5 weeks, PTE Practice & Tests every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
