# RCA House Points vs Planbook Mobile

The clearest difference is rating: Planbook Mobile at 4.8 against RCA House Points's 3.9. Planbook Mobile also leads on ratings volume (7.7K vs 241) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). RCA House Points's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Planbook Mobile sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. RCA House Points asks for nothing beyond the download.

Planbook Mobile holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Planbook Mobile has 7.7K ratings behind it against 241, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of RCA House Points's written reviews are positive against 51% of Planbook Mobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

RCA House Points ships an update every 4 days, Planbook Mobile every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
