# AVM vs Vimeo Create

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Vimeo Create at 47% against AVM's 0%. Vimeo Create also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 71 months). AVM's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AVM sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Vimeo Create sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AVM holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vimeo Create has 49K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of AVM's written reviews are positive against 47% of Vimeo Create's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AVM ships an update every 71 months, Vimeo Create fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
