# GUM SMART vs Splits

The clearest difference is update cadence: Splits at daily against GUM SMART's every 2 months. GUM SMART's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.4). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GUM SMART sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $27.49 per year and Splits sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GUM SMART ships an update every 2 months, Splits daily. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
