# EndscopeTool vs VB MATE

The clearest difference is rating: EndscopeTool at 2.7 against VB MATE's 2.0. EndscopeTool also leads on ratings volume (303 vs 2). VB MATE's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 33%) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

EndscopeTool holds the better App Store score, 2.7 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EndscopeTool has 303 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of EndscopeTool's written reviews are positive against 50% of VB MATE's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

EndscopeTool ships an update every 2 months, VB MATE every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
