# PrepFE vs PPI

The clearest difference is rating: PPI at 4.7 against PrepFE's 2.2. PPI also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 9). PrepFE's advantage is review sentiment (8% vs 0%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PrepFE sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. PPI asks for nothing beyond the download.

PPI holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 22 and 46 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 8% of PrepFE's written reviews are positive against 0% of PPI's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PrepFE ships an update every 2 months, PPI monthly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
